One of the perks in living in an archipelago is having a plenty of beautiful wetlands.  Wetlands are land areas which are surrounded by water. But, sa lahat ng wetlands here in the Philippines Malampaya Sound is the one na nakukuha ng atensyon ko.  The place itself is a very gorgeous attraction and it is also helpful in attracting tourists to visit our simple country.  If you're a local, I believe this is a great place to pause and retreat to all the problems and stress that you might be experiencing at work.

SMALL SCALE.  Gusto ko yun maemphasize because marameng tao ang nag practice ng environmental exploitation kasama na dito ang mga dayuhan even yung mga banyaga!  It sucks kasi kahit di tayo completely nanginginabang dito, na-jeopardize ng malala ang ating kalikasan.  Illegal logging, illegal fishing and even potential mining are happening.  Pag ito ay nagpatuloy pa, maaring wala na tayong maisda or even worse.

Good thing marameng public and private institutions ang tumutulong ipreserve ang place.  Actually hindi naman naten kaylangan sumali jan para tumulong.  I believe pede na ang mga maliliit na bagay upang makapag contribute tayo like blogging about it.  Kasi ako, gusto ko na pumunta sa place na yan with my future family.  And with everyone helping hand in hand, we can preserve the beauty of Malampaya Sound even a thousand years.
